Exact reproduction
of complex textures

The electroforming processes

Electroforming meets the needs and requirements for even more complex parts made of plastics. The processes allow product designers to realise even the most demanding geometries and textures in a component. Details of surfaces can be reproduced precisely by using different metallic and non-metallic materials for the models.

Two processes in electroforming

In principle there are two production methods for tools to choose from:
  • Electroforming
  • for the IMG process
Both processes work on the same principle: Models are plated which correspond to the required tools in terms of geometry, surface texture and dimensional accuracy.
